For my literature review, i added a paragraph for the background of the digital divide term and how it all came about. i forgot to write one up in my review so now i got it: ) i've also added the outcomes of the studies that i got from my resources and how i will use it with my research project.
Secondly, between a project proposal or a research proposal, i don't know which one would be best for me.

Hi Danielle,
ReplyDeleteCool! I am looking forward to reading about the history of the Digital Divide term.
I believe that if we looked at your original research question, your proposal would be addressing whether or not the Miller Center Library, or any other part of SCSU, is recognizing the Digital Divide which may exist for students.
If you could easily find this information, then you would create a project proposal. This is because you would already have found statistics (how many students need remedial computer assistance, how many indicated that they did not have computers at home, only at school, whether or not there was a correlation between computer ownership and academic performance, etc.), and would know who to target for a project.
If you do not have all of that information, you would need to develop a research proposal which would state what steps you would need to take in order to find this information.
Does that make sense?
